Sample more than 30 wines while a variety of Pacific Northwest musicians perform amidst antiques, imports, retro clothing and other unique gifts in an area renown for its charming selection of shops, restaurants, holistic health centers and more.

Throughout the Uptown Village, participating merchants will showcase award-winning yet affordable wines including Vancouver's own Benke Cellars who proudly presents its third vintage selection. Under the Village's sparkling holiday lights, Portland-based Music Millenium showcases a montage of live music including folk, acoustic, indie pop, orchestral groups, strolling carolers and yes, even a jug band.

The event, which sold out in 2006, also features a sensational raffle with proceeds benefiting Habitat for Humanity. Habitat for Humanity is a not-for-profit organization whose goal is to provide decent and affordable housing to people in need.

Tickets are available here for a $25 donation. Ticket holders will enjoy wine sampling, shopping discounts and a commemorative wine glass. For non-samplers, $5 provides shopping discounts throughout the Uptown Village.

The Uptown Village is just north of downtown Vancouver, centered around Main Street between Mill Plain and Fourth Plain.
